Alright real quick for those who didn't really know or understand I got a DVT (blood clot) in my leg back in November. A trip to the Emergency Room turned into 5 nights in the hospital, on day 4 I had a pulmonary Embolism (blood clot go to my lung) the treatment is lots of blood thinners. I was sent home to continue meds along with weekly check-ups with my Doctor, however some times things just don't work out the way you think and my Coumadin stopped working for me. I saw a Vascular Surgeon (a specialist in this area) he gave me lots of advice and some things we wanted to hear others we didn't. He thought I might have May-Thurners Syndrome (I know whats that? you will have to look it up and read about it basically my main artery in my lower stomach is collapsed) but we are not positive that is what I have I had another CT done last week and I will see the Doc again on Thursday.
So there ya go just lots of boring stuff, I am up and moving around much better, my leg just feels really heavy and tired at the end of the day but I am determined to make a complete recovery. This has been for me another test of patience and humility, for Cory well lets just say the toughest man in the world cant watch his wife fighting for her life. As for my mini three we just love them to pieces and have learned not to let one moment pass you by. To my Mom and Dad I know this was hard for them because I 'm a parent and I cant imagine watching a child sick, I promise this was not my fault.
Hey on a happier note I don't have to carry the kids' laundry upstairs and put it away, come to think of it I only go up there about once a week. I love you ALL for I know you all were thinking and praying for me thank you. There, enough talk about my blood clot I will try to keep an update on how things are going from time to time.

hey jen, this is lindsey, i know I haven't seen you in a while but I found your blog and just thought I'd let you know I hope everything is going okay with you, my husband got a blood clot in his leg while on his mission and it spread to his chest and it took them a while to get the right blood thinner that worked for him, but he did get better as you will too. your family looks so great and happy, I am happy for you guys. If you need to talk about anything my husband is the expert on blood clots, so please let me know. Thinking of you
