parent/ teacher night for three

Having three kids in an elementary school means three SEM appointments all on the same day. That means three interviews, three times writing three goals for three different kids. It means having to hear three times the good and the not so good things of all three.

Mason: three great stories he wrote in computer class, three girls in the class which than leads to three times of being told "no more talking"

Brooke: three math scores higher than average, three days a week she gets to go to her SEM class where she learns how to speak Japanese. Three hugs from Mrs. Neeley.

Kobe: three TERRIFIC drawings of a turkey, three impressive books he has read this year, and yes even three papers of not quite the best handwriting yet (and who knows it may never improve)

so three, three kids in three grades hearing all about their progress in less than three hours. When we got home we ordered a pizza but I can say it was not here in three minutes, o'well

Wow Jen! Sounds intense. Especially since your three kids are so very different in more than three ways. I bet you got a variety of feedback from those three teachers. Good idea ending it all with a pizza, that always helps.

Did get there in thiry minutes? The good old days. I used to love hearing the good things and the praise, not so much the needs improvement....but oh well, we take the good and bad don't we. Every year they would tell me how horrible my boys handwriting is....still is! But they can shoot a basket....Love your stories. Love knowing about your life.
